Hello everyone-

Sorry for the lack of updates but in getting home from pittsburgh, didn't have access to my shows until the other day when i connected my desktop to copy files from it.  So to make up for that, here are the final episodes for febuary and these also conclude my look in to the mario brothers series.  You'll hear music from mario64, remakes of the first 3 games that were made for the super nintendo and even some music from super mario land for the gameboy!  Next saturday will be the next update, with 4 weeks of those crazy, pizza eating, well you'll just have to listen to find out!

Enjoy!

Hello evreyone-

My name is Jay Pellis and I finally decided to enter the podcasting arena.  I am currently a graduate student at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, majoring in music technology/electronic composition with a bit of music performance thrown in too.  I've always wanted to do something at a college radio station and sadly didn't have the time to do so in undergraduate school.  However, after attending a radio station metting at the beginning of this semester, I was given a day, a time and was told to do whatever I wanted.  With music being one of my favorite things and video games being another, I decided to put together a radio show of video game music.  I had this idea in mind for a few years now so I was able to put together the first show in a matter of weeks and here it is!  Over the next few months up until heading back to school for the fall, I will be posting 1 archived episode a week of the radio show.  I recorded every show using a digital audio recorder and didn't bother editing things in the recordings so what you hear is what you get haha.  I hope everyone enjoys hearing the show and if anyone has any ideas about changes to the show etc, please feel free to get in touch.  I am looking to expand the show next fall with maybe something like taking requests from fans through a messenger program or phone calls.  At the moment, the show is set up where I choose a game or game series every week, research it online and play various music from it.  That's quite fun to do by myself but I would definitely like to have a partner with me in the studio to help organize and decide the content of shows and to also talk about various games and the music that will be played.  If anyone from around the many universities around Pittsburgh or just anyone in the area is interested, feel free to contact me and let me know!  Even if you aren't in to games and just want to hang out at the show, we can definitely write out things for us to say and maybe have the show run more fluently then it has been running.  My contact information is at the end of every show and I will be adding it to these posts.  On that note, enjoy the first show featuring music from the famous Super mario brothers series.
